Happy are the feet that bring
the Good News to others!
Romans 10:15

Mount Royal Academy's 2009 Annual Fund

Dear Friends of Mount Royal Academy,

The 2008-2009 academic year marks the fifteenth year that we will deliver a wonderful Catholic education to students in pre-school through twelfth grade. The evidence of God’s grace is easy to see upon reflection of the academy’s humble conception in a small wing of an old hospital.

Mount Royal Academy strives to teach the whole child, one student at a time. For this reason we have created a strong academic program in a safe, positive environment. Mount Royal is a place where developing the character and virtue in students is just as important as challenging them intellectually. The faculty strives to help parents raise faith-filled, joyful, balanced, capable, responsible children who will be the future leaders of our country.

Inspired by the “Year of St. Paul” and the desire to celebrate service, our school theme for this year is “Happy are the feet that bring the Good News to others!” (Romans 10:15). To bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to others, the Mount Royal Academy Student Outreach Program has been planning and conducting a variety of events to help those in need.

As we kick off our 2009 Annual Fund Drive, we hope and pray that you will help us in this increasingly important endeavor of educating the whole person. All of us here at Mount Royal Academy understand how difficult things are, especially in today’s economy. We understand giving now is more of a sacrifice than ever. However, it is only through the generous help of benefactors like you that we are able to continue to grow and deliver this beautiful education to children, who in turn share their gift of the Good News to others. Recently, at a Mass where our student choir participated, the pastor stressed from the altar the importance of a Catholic education, especially in today’s culture. He talked about how an investment in the stock market does not guarantee a return, but an investment in Catholic education is an investment for eternity.

Thank you for your continued support of our school. May God bless you and your family!
